SCU-China

SCU-China is founded in 2012,with the support of the College of Life Science of Sichuan University.The team exists as a scholar club in the university and it really provides a platform for all students to show their passions and potentials.Some guys have been working in the team for a few years,making the whole team really a big family.

This year,we get students from ten different colleges and it gives us the chances to know different majors and work together.We really enjoy the time and it leaves such a deep impression on everyone who contributes here.We design all our projects independently by ourselves.

Though we haven't got any gold medal as far,we gained a lot from the process.We really enjoy the iGEM competition.

SICAU

We are a synthetic biology interest group,formed in 2015,aiming to study for synthetic biology and participate in iGEM competition.

Our team contains 22 people,including a guiding teacher,a graduated student,12 sophomores and 8 juniors.In the weekend,our affairs including molecular biology study,interpretation of the literatures or iGEM projects,in order to expand our knowledge.Based on these,we have begun to design the iGEM project for attending international iGEM game the next year.Now,we are struggling for getting an independent laboratory and being an excellent team.

The Third Military Medical University is located in Chongqing,a beautiful mountain city.And TMMU-China is the first team on behalf of our school to participate in iGEM.Our team is full of power and vigor,which is composed of experimental group,modeling group,wiki group,art group and human practice group.Welcome to learn about us!

Our team comes from the university of electronic science and technology of China.Our hometowns are different,however,we reached to a same place;our dreams are different,but now,we try our best for a common target,that is why we get together and now,let us show you how we get together.

1.School tournament.

After saying goodbye to the former year,iGEMers started steps for this year.During the prepare from November to March,about twenty teams from different academies in our school took part in the annual school tournament.Through appraising and election of judges,prizes have been determined.

2.Shape up

In the school tournament,judges selected initial team members by different performance of participants.Different people have different specialities.That is,many students can take an important part in our team.We were chosen and we will fight.

3.Confirm division

In our first meeting,we acknowledged the different division in our team by the help of our instructor,and then,we made self-introduction including self-speciality.After that,everyone¡¯s division had been confirmed,relying on this,our team is divided into engineering,scientists,documentation,art,outreach,making our responsibility clearer.

4.Team discipline

Every strong team should possess efficiency and enthusiasm.We make the discipline that every-week meeting should be hold.At those meetings,our members will share what they did in the last week and ensure what we are aimed to do in the next step.
