The thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 13), the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP/MOP 8) will take place in Cancun, Mexico during December of 2016.
Synthetic biology will be one topics reviewed during this event. The decision that the participants make could have a heavy impact in research worldwide.
iGEM Headquarters is preparing to participate in this event and we are looking for enthusiastic candidates who would like to join us for this conference. People in our delegation need to be able to adapt to the flexible schedule of the meeting, have conversations with delegates from all around the world and present themselves in a strong, confident way.
