- Prepare chloramphenicol agar plates
- Grow up DH5α
Tasks:
Michelle & Jordan
- Prepared 1L of chloramphenicol agar plates
- 10g of tryptone peptone
- 5g of Bacto yeast extract
- 5g NaCl
- 100 μL 10M NaOH
- 15g Bacto agar
- H2O to 1L
- Autoclaved to sterilize
Sara & Shu
- Grew up DH5α
- 5mL of LB into 5mL culture tubes
- Inoculated with DH5α stock
- Incubated overnight at 37ºC
