Please keep in mind that your first priority as volunteer is to your designated area and that this may mean that you will miss out on some/all presentations, but we will do our best to make sure you have free time depending on the number of volunteers. Unfortunately iGEM HQ cannot provide financial aid or accommodations for volunteers but food will be provided throughout the event, and volunteers will receive complimentary admission for the days they volunteer.</p>

We are looking for volunteers to help us make the 2016 Giant Jamboree amazing!

Volunteer Duties
  • Assisting attendees
  • Staffing presentation rooms, special event areas, information desk
  • Generating updates for social media outlets
  • Setting up in the mornings, and breaking down in the evenings
  • Checking attendee badges
  • Other tasks as necessary

Please keep in mind that your first priority as volunteer is to your designated area and that this may mean that you will miss out on some/all presentations, but we will do our best to make sure you have free time depending on the number of volunteers.
