This law is from Centers for Disease Control, Taiwan, and it has a lot of sections, laboratories safety rules, biosafety rules, safety of infectious biological material, protective equipment rules and the rules of biotoxin. We have already detailed read these rules, and we will do our experiment according them.

Biosafety
A good product is defined as a product that benefits the people and do not harm the surrounding environment. TCU is always stressing on biosafety among its curriculums. Hence, we take this biosafety issue very seriously.

There are some biosafety issues that were raise by other teams and here is what we have found after our research.

1.Is E. coli BL21 safe for our environment?

Chromo Diabetector is composed by BL21. Base on the website, it says that BL21 is safe for the environment.
Resources:https://www.neb.com/~/media/Catalog/All-Products/0B28021B9A36470BB46B318DAD19ED4F/MSDS/sdsC2527gh.pdf

2. Is dh5α is safe for our environment?

Based on the website, it says that dh5α does not harm a healthy adult human.

Resources:https://www.neb.com/~/media/Catalog/All-Products/0B28021B9A36470BB46B318DAD19ED4F/MSDS/sdsC2527gh.pdf
In our lab, every waste material will be stored properly inside the wasted material trash. These materials will be handed off to the ministry of environment to be disposed properly so that it does not cause any chemical pollution towards the environment.
