If we are to come up with new and renewable energy sources that can sustain society fully before fossil fuels run out, and if we are to stop or even reverse Climate Change, we have to be the most innovative generation in history. Our iGEM team has realised the potential that Synthetic Biology has to offer in this field, and the focus of our project is to help defeat these problems so that next generation’s children will not have to face them.
