Percentage=Times of Chosen\Marks of Effective Answer Sheet. It means the proportion of people who chose one answer in number of those who filled in the questionnaire. About 92.8% people are from 18 to 30 years old and the majorities are undergraduate students. When asked ‘ how often do they use navigation software in their daily life?’, about 73.8% only occasionally use navigation software in their daily life, 22.6% often use navigation software to guide them in their daily life and only 3.57% don’t use it at all. We can conclude that navigation software plays an irreplaceable role in the life of the majorities.</p><br>

In our questionnaire, we also asked the interviewees to give the specific account of the problems they think still exist in the navigation software available in the market and we have got a lot of feedback on our question. For instance, the maps in the software haven’t been upgraded in time and the information is not accurate, the maps don’t show some bus stops and subway platforms existing in some places and sometimes the pathway length is longer than it shows in the navigation software , etc.</p><br>

This was a great chance to reach out and engage with the public and communicate science to the public.</p><br>

On that day, we got into conversation with many people and informed them about problems with our project. We also explained what synthetic biology is and where you can find products from genetically engineered organisms in everyday life. To evoke enthusiasm for science in college students, we offered them several small experiments of making organic batteries of different fruits. In the meantime, we sold some milk tea to raise funds.
