Abstract
how does it work ?
This year, HUST-CHina designed a functional gene expression toolkit. The systems we designed are not only adaptable to any input and output, but also can change threshold to meet the requirements from different project purposes.
Normally, gene expression level depends on input signal's intensity. So when dealing with a real-world problem, the system could be fragile.
Our toolkit can sense even pulse signal to reach its stable expression state. And as a validly characterized circuit, it is easier to hang on with for fresh man.
Magnetic Receiver
For magnetic receiver, we chose Ferritin, the iron-storage protein in organisms, which could synthesize ferric oxihydroxide core in its hollow protein shell. When exposed to electromagnetic field, the ferric oxihydroxide core would be heated, raising the ambient temperature. In this session, we explored measurement techniques for the valuation of magnetism、biomineralization and Protein concentration per cell.
