PROJECT
This year, we aim to develop a kill switch for genetically enhanced fungal pesticides to alleviate biosafety concerns to hopefully increase the chances of practice and commercialization.
PROTOTYPE
In prototype we want to find a way other than large-scale spraying to implement our fungi with the help of bait station. Moreover, we made an infrared counter that record the data and send it to the smartphone with app installed. We hope to construct an integrated orchard safeguard (IOS) for the fruit growers. Pest Prediction Website
We establish a pest prediction website that with provide the prediction of the pest population size based on the past 20 days’ meteorological data for the next 7 days. Click to know more about the technique, detail, collaboration and visit the web !!!
Media Analysis
We wonder if media transfer gene-technology information in an understandable way with sufficient information, which may, if not carefully present, resulting in innocent about these new development and advancement.
