Agenda:

  • Prepare chloramphenicol agar plates
  • Grow up DH5α

Tasks:

Michelle & Jordan

  • Prepared 1L of chloramphenicol agar plates
    • 10g of tryptone peptone
    • 5g of Bacto yeast extract
    • 5g NaCl
    • 100 μL 10M NaOH
    • 15g Bacto agar
    • H2O to 1L
    • Autoclaved to sterilize

Sara & Shu

  • Grew up DH5α
    • 5mL of LB into 5mL culture tubes
    • Inoculated with DH5α stock
    • Incubated overnight at 37ºC
