PROOF OF CONCEPT
Below you can see all the experimental data that we have been able to acquire this summer!
Lungs: SOD Gene therapy
Our SOD construct has GFP downstream, therefore when we transfect our mammalian cells, we hope to see the cells that have our construct express GFP light.
Gut: Lycopene
We sent our lycopene bacteria to iGEM Dundee, to test how our product will work in the real world. It needs to pass the stomach!
Healthy teeth: Bacteriocin producing device
Show that the bacteriocin has destroyed S.mutans
Catheter Lubricant
Show that bacteria that contain irre survive better in lubricant solution then bacteria that don't have irre expressed
Pest control: Vitellogenin
