HP On the Road:

We went outside on the road to come in contact with people. We spread postcards with the topic synthetic biology and talked about the &ldquote;fear of genes&rdquote;.

Furthermore, we gave presentations at our university to inform the general public.

We also went back to school, to talk about Biotechnology as a field of studying - a topic which went way to short in our school time.

HP On the Web:

When non-scientists hear about “synthetic biology” they often express doubts and fears. To improve the view on synthetic biology, to promote its many uses and even increase the interest in synthetic biology in the general public, we participated in the postcard collaboration proposed by the iGEM team Düsseldorf.
