Synthesis at iGEM
FREE DNA synthesis is now available for all iGEM 2016 teams! IDT is partnering with iGEM to offer 20kb of DNA as gBlocks Gene Fragments to each registered iGEM 2016 team!

PLOS iGEM Collection
iGEM 2015 teams can now publish their results in the PLOS iGEM Collection! Submissions will be posted on the PLOS Collections blog.

Regular registration deadline coming up!
Be sure to register your team and submit the registration fee by March 31, the deadline for regular registration! Registration fees received after March 31 at 11:59PM Boston time will be subject to a late fee surcharge of $500 USD. Team PIs can register their team for iGEM 2016 by following these steps:
- Complete the registration application
- Submit the team's registration fee
- Stand by for contact email from iGEM HQ (this will follow after submission of the registration application and fee)
Please note, students will not be able to register a team. Please see the team roles page for additional information.
Plant Synthetic Biology in iGEM!
iGEM HQ is excited to announce a new initiative to support plant synthetic biology during the 2016 season and beyond! Plant synthetic biology has risen in popularity among iGEM teams over the last few years and we're working hard to help support those teams for 2016.
