We firmly believe that iGEM is a global collaborative exercise to further the progress of synthetic biology. In this spirit, we collaborated with many iGEM teams this year. We helped iGEM team [[Team:Paris_Bettencourt|Paris Bettencourt]] procure untreated unbleached cotton fabric(khadi cloth from some local suppliers) for their project. We also had a Skype chat and helped team [[Team:Hong_Kong_HKUST|Hong Kong HKUST]] with a modelling aspect of their project. In addition, we participated in the Indian meet up of iGEM teams held at SVCE Chennai in the month of July. We had a lot of fun presenting our respective projects and interacting with the other teams who attended([[Team:IISc_Bangalore/Model|IISC Bangalore]] and [[Team:SVCE_CHENNAI|SVCE Chennai]]). After this meet up, we agreed to send some important biobrick parts to each other to help validate our projects.

Paris Bettencourt

Indian iGEM teams

In addition, we participated in the Indian meet up of iGEM teams held at SVCE Chennai in the month of July. We had a lot of fun presenting our respective projects and interacting with the other teams who attended(IISC Bangalore and SVCE Chennai). After this meet up, we agreed to send some important biobrick parts to each other to help validate our projects.

We thank SVCE for their help in characterising one of our parts. In return we helped in characterising one of their parts as well.
