Requirements

All iGEM participants are expected to read and understand the iGEM Requirements. Remember that teams that do not comply with the requirements may not be eligible to win awards and prizes.

Judging

Tracks

The purpose of the iGEM Tracks is to help teams focus their projects. The subjects areas encompassed by the tracks aim to solve crucial global and local challenges using synthetic biology.

2016 DNA Distribution

The iGEM 2016 DNA Distribution contains over 1200 high-quality part samples as dried (miniprepped plasmid) DNA.

Interlab Study

All of the 2016 teams are invited and encouraged to participate in the Third International InterLaboratory Measurement Study in synthetic biology!
