<p >We are the iGEM Pasteur 2016. We are an interdisciplinary group with a common interest in synthetic biology. </p>

<p >For the second time, Institut Pasteur has registered an iGEM team. Last year, the iGEM Pasteur 2015 team was comprised of freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The team was successful in the competition, winning a bronze medal in the Overgraduate section (master and higher levels).</p>

<p >This year, the group formed by Deshmukh Gopaul consists of 19 students from different backgrounds : <a href="http://www.upmc.fr">Université Pierre et Marie Curie </a>, <a href="http://www.u-psud.fr/fr/index.html"> Paris Sud</a>, <a href="http://www.espci.fr">ESPCI</a>, <a href="http://www.etsl.fr">ETSL</a> and <a href="http://www.ensci.com/fr">ENSCI</a>. Additionally,class="member description">This is a team effort and everyone is involved in an optimal way according to his or her experience and area of expertise (i.e. biology, physics, chemistry, industrial design or law). Moreover, several students already possessed practical experience thanks to several internships, which is a major advantage. This 2016 iGEM Pasteur Paris Team has the drive expertise and innovative vision to successfully contribute to science and the world. </p>
