<p>Half of the team wend in the lab and carried out a trial run of our E.Coli survival after heat shock experiment and once again hit a few snags. The space required to carry out this experiment is quite large and one sterile hood was not enough. We ran the experiment for only half an hour due to these issues. Once again we had to make new improvements for the protocol to ensure that the full experiment runs more smoothly the next time that it is run.</p>
