<p>We presented workshops on DNA, synthetic biology, and bioethics to a number of middle school and high school groups, and introduced them to different, interesting, topic-related experiments (such as DNA extraction and using micropipettes), and discussed safety and related ethical issues. </p>

<p>We reached out via the community board and directly to any teams interested in TX-TL, which we performed successfully for the William and Mary team. </p>
 
 
<p>We hosted or attended five physical and virtual meet-ups to discuss each other's projects and help each other out. </p>
 
 
<p>We also maintained a twitter account to report our progress and outreach.</p>
