Hi! My name is Jiaxin Cai. I’m a junior student at Nanjing University. Although my major is advertising, I’m quite interested in biology because it can help us to know more about ourselves and other creatures from a special aspect. So it’s a big pleasure for me to join NJU-CHINA team. My main work includes the human practice part and video production. I participated in the interview of doctors at Gulou Hospital in Nanjing, sent questionnaires to patients at Tianjin Tumor Hospital and analyzed our questionnaires. Also, I’m responsible for producing the background introduction film and interview video. In brief, wish we could have a wonderful time in Boston and get a good result.

I am totally obsessed with science and technology, which is one of the many reasons that I joined the iGEM team this year. I take major responsibility for designing and building wiki of NJU-China. Along with providing us with experience across several fields, iGEM is a great way to get to meet many fun, smart, and interesting people. This NJU-China family gave me the most warmth during this whole 9 months.
