Freiburg iGEM Team
This year the iGEM Team Freiburg approached the problem of drugs getting distributed in the whole body instead only in the targeted area.
Because iGEM Team Freiburg, as well as our team, is working with Bacillus subtilis to reach their project goals, we decided to support each other. We were able to provide them with our protocol for competent cells and thankfully they could assist us with a transformation protocol for these bacteria. Through our struggle of working with Bacillus subtilis we decided to write a guide "How to Bacillus subtilis" for improving the work of future iGEM Teams working with this organism.
Düsseldorf iGEM Team
The iGEM Team Düsseldorf initiated the creation and distribution of postcards with themes of synthetic biology. Teams all around Germany participated, and so did we.
