The human practices are an important aspect of the iGEM competition.

It allows to the students to not focus only on the scientific parts and make them interest to the other aspects around the project such as Philosophy, Public Engagement, Education or Ethics. This year, our team worked on many projects in order to :

  • explain to everyone what is synthetic biology and its use in our daily life
  • transmit to children and tennagers our scientific knowlegde
  • think about the ethical aspects of the famous tool CRISPR-CAS9
  • meet professionnals to deal with our project in depth
