F- On the afternoon of August 16, we came to the TEDA green technology exhibition hall.
- Mrs. Zhao explained the way of TEDA’s green development to us.
- Also, she introduced recent years’ policies on green development of Tianjin Development Zone.
- Introduction to the low-carbon technology used in this whole building.
- Mrs. Zhao broadcasted TEDA EcoCenter’s propaganda film for us.
- And presented the whole plastic disposal process.
- On finishing our visit to the green technology exhibition hall, we went to the tearoom, looked through their brochure and asked Mrs. Zhao questions about plastic disposal and if there would be any chance that our experimental results could be put into application. She centered on low-carbon idea to make explanation to us, enabling us to have an in-depth knowledge on low-carbon economy. Sometimes we had serious discussion and sometimes we had cheerfully chats.
- After a rest, we came to the meeting room to present our competition contents and achievements of iGEM in previous years.
- Finally, we wrote‘iGEM Tianjin’and‘TEDA’on the Doodle maker and signed our names there. We sincerely hope to continue our cooperation in the future and establish friendly contacts and relationship.
